About the role

Do you love Cloud? Are you a developer with a security mindset ? Then this Cloud Security Engineer/Developer role might be for you.

We are 100% deployed in the cloud via AWS. This role will build and develop new & emerging AWS technologies in regards to Security at Sportsbet - improving, innovating and extending Sportsbets security position within AWS for the business. In addition, you will:

• Code and develop on all things AWS security (quite often with Python)
• Stay abreast of the ever-evolving security landscape and ensure deployed solutions remain secure
• Stay abreast with current opportunities to enhance our cloud offering
• Continually develop your ability to grow and learn new technologies and impart your knowledge to the broader technology teams, mentoring others
• You will work with our business development teams to implement best practice security standards for new products or AWS solutions

About you

To ensure your success and enjoyment in this role you will have:

• Developer and creative infrastructure coding mindset
• Proven experience in AWS preferred
• Experience within object-oriented languages, i.e. you can code
• Extensive knowledge about APIs, able to design RESTful services and integrate with other data providers
